Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Zefmatic website, application, and services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Zefmatic (“Zefmatic”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Zefmatic turns music into lyric videos and audio-reactive visualizers. You can upload your own audio, or describe a concept and have the Service generate lyrics and a sung track on your behalf, then render a captioned video that you can download or publish.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in uses a one-time link sent to your email address. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.

3. Credits, payment & Merchant of Record

The Service operates on a pre-paid credit model. One credit renders one finished video for a song up to five minutes long, and includes one correction re-render on the same project. A short watermarked preview is available at no charge; a credit is only consumed when you render a full video.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates (“Paddle”), who act as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. When you purchase credits, your contract of sale for that transaction is with Paddle, who handle billing, receipts, and the collection and remittance of any applicable taxes. Card and payment details are handled by Paddle and are not stored by Zefmatic. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Because videos are produced on demand, please review it before purchasing.

5. Your content & rights

You retain ownership of the audio, artwork, lyrics, and other material you upload (“Your Content”). You grant Zefmatic a limited licence to store, process, and render Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to Your Content and that its use through the Service does not infringe the rights of any third party. Do not upload music, lyrics, artwork, or other material you do not have the right to use. You are solely responsible for the content you create and for how you publish it, including on third-party platforms such as YouTube.

6. AI-generated content

Where you use the generation feature, lyrics and audio are produced with the help of third-party AI providers. Generated output may not be unique and is provided without any warranty of originality, accuracy, or fitness. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before you publish or distribute it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or distribute material that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others, and not to abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. We do not guarantee that any output is eligible for monetization on any third-party platform.

8. Availability & changes

We provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zefmatic is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the three months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zefmatic is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
